China's foreign exchange reserves down 0.75 pct in June

BEIJING, July 7 (Xinhua) -- China's foreign exchange reserves stood at 3.4163 trillion U.S. dollars at the end of last month, down by 26 billion U.S. dollars, or 0.75 percent, from the level at the end of May, official data showed Tuesday.
In June, the U.S. dollar index rose, while prices of major global financial assets were mixed, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange noted.
A combination of factors, including exchange rate translation and changes in asset prices, led to a decline in China's foreign exchange reserves last month, the administration added.
