Longji terraced fields in Longsheng Ge Autonomous County, Guilin city, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, were transformed into a breathtaking wonderland after recent rainfall.

As the skies cleared, layers upon layers of terraced fields glistened under the morning light, resembling cascading silver ladders stretching across the mountains.

Traditional wooden stilt houses, known as Diaojiaolou, are scattered among the terraces, partially veiled by drifting clouds, creating a vivid scene reminiscent of a living Chinese ink-wash painting.
