China's State Council appoints, removes officials

BEIJING, June 26 (Xinhua) -- The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials on Friday.

Yue Xiuhu was appointed deputy head of the National Development and Reform Commission.

Zhang Guangjun was appointed vice minister of science and technology.

Luo Tianshu was appointed deputy director of the State Taxation Administration.

Hu Jinyang was appointed vice chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency.

Guan Zhi'ou no longer serves as general supervisor of national natural resources.

Bian Zhigang was removed from the post of deputy head of the State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense.
