1 killed in bomb explosion in Bangladesh capital

DHAKA, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- A man was killed after miscreants hurled a crude bomb from a flyover in Dhaka early Wednesday night.

A senior police official in Dhaka told journalists that the incident occurred on around 7:30 p.m. local time under a flyover in central Dhaka.

It was not immediately clear who was responsible for the attack.
