China's first pet lounge opens at Shenzhen airport

An airport in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province opened China's first-ever pet lounge on May 8, 2024. The lounge is located in the domestic cargo area of Shenzhen Baoan International Airport, covering an area of about 210 square meters. Separate areas are provided for dogs and cats, with each pet having an exclusive waiting area. Meanwhile, on-site services including pet ticket booking, pet vehicle service and quarantine certification are provided. Owners can also track their pets online.
