Coal mine roof accident kills two in China's Hebei

SHIJIAZHUANG, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Two people trapped in a coal mine roof accident in north China's Hebei Province have been confirmed dead, the coal mine company said Saturday.
A shaft roof collapsed at 4:42 a.m. Friday at a mine of Jizhong Energy Resources Co., Ltd. in the city of Xingtai, leaving two people trapped, according to a statement issued by the company on its website.
As of 6:50 p.m. Saturday, the two people had been confirmed dead and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
