Conference held to mark 4 decades of government service hotline

SHENYANG, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- The 2023 summit on digital business environment reform and innovation and the conference on the 40th anniversary of China's government service hotline took place on Tuesday in Shenyang, Liaoning Province.

Participants to the events lauded the fruitful results and experience in the government service hotline over the past 40 years, saying the hotline has adhered to the people-centered approach and provided convenient and efficient services to the public through reform and innovations.

The report on the 40-year development of government service hotline, which was released during the conference, highlighted the continuous progress made over the past four decades.

The hotline has gradually realized standardization and progressed towards digital and intelligent development, according to the report compiled by China Economic Information Service and the Center for Digital Governance of Sun Yat-sen University.

More than 500 people from relevant government departments, experts and scholars from home and abroad, and representatives from media outlets and enterprises attended the events.
