The Xuan Paper Town officially opened to visitors in Jingxian county, east China's Anhui Province, on Oct. 21, 2023.
It covers an area of about 2.83 square kilometers and revolves around China Xuan Paper Co., Ltd., the Xuan Paper Museum and a cultural park.
The area is divided into six main zones, each serving a specific purpose: supporting services, showcasing craftsmanship, facilitating art exchanges, promoting vibrant industries, producing Xuan paper, and providing leisure activities.
The town has become a magnet for calligraphy and painting artists, offering visitors a unique and distinctive experience featuring the poetic beauty of Chinese aesthetics.
The architectural design incorporates white fair-faced concrete, perfectly complementing the color of Xuan paper. The skillful combination of straight lines and curved slices creates a visual representation of stacked Xuan paper, resembling mountains and providing visitors with a unique experience of walking in a painting.
