LIMA, April 16 (Xinhua) -- China had a fruitful day at the ISSF World Cup in Lima, Peru on Sunday as Xia Siyu and Feng Siyuan, both 20, won women's 50m rifle 3 positions and 25m pistol respectively, alongside Shi Mengyao's silver and Zhao Nan's bronze.

In the 50m rifle 3 positions competition, Xia and Shi finished the qualification in fifth and sixth place with 580 points, eight behind leader Roxana Sidi of Romania. The two were able to make quick adjustments, as Shi topped the ranking match with 405.5 points, followed by Xia 1.6 points behind. World bronze medalist Jeanette Hegg Duestad of Norway secured the bronze medal with 403.7.

The all-Chinese gold medal match was tied for the fourth time at 10-10 when Xia took advantage of Shi's sudden stumble to claim six points in a row for the gold medal in her World Cup debut.

Earlier on Sunday, Feng Siyuan led all the way to advance into the medal match of the 25m pistol, where she kept her nerves to beat Anastasiia Nimets of Ukraine in the final series with 28 hits to 26. Zhao, 18, earned her third bronze in Lima after women's 10m air pistol and mixed team events.

The Lima World Cup will conclude on Monday after men's 25m rapid fire pistol and 50m rifle 3 positions competitions. China currently leads the medal tally with four gold, three silver, and three bronze medals from eight events.
