China's Hainan appoints acting governor

HAIKOU, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Liu Xiaoming was appointed deputy governor and acting governor of south China's Hainan Province on Sunday.

The appointment was made at the second session of the Standing Committee of the 7th Hainan Provincial People's Congress, the local legislature.
