Photo exhibition introducing Beijing Winter Olympics unveiled in Turkey's capital
ANKARA, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- A photo exhibition was held Wednesday in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, to introduce the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympic Games to the Turkish public.
Chinese Ambassador to Turkey Liu Shaobin and President of the National Olympic Committee of Turkey Ugur Erdener attended the exhibition, along with hundreds of guests from the Turkish parliament, the Turkish Olympic Committee and the Turkish-Chinese Friendship Foundation.
The exhibition, under the same motto as the Beijing Winter Olympic Games "Together for a Shared Future," delivered a comprehensive introduction of the global sports event from various perspectives.
The Chinese ambassador said that China has systematically proceeded with its preparation of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Games as it had made a serious commitment to the international community, despite all the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Chinese diplomat believed that China and Turkey will deepen their relations and cooperation in sports through the Beijing Winter Olympics.
For his part, Erdener praised China's efforts in hosting this global sports event, expressing his faith that the Beijing Winter Olympics will be a complete success. He hoped that the Turkish delegation would experience many impressive moments in China next year.
