In Jiangbulake, a scenic area in Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, about 20,000 mu (one mu is about 0.067 hectares) of wheat crops are planted at an altitude of about 1,700 meters. The natural environment there provides all the nutrients the crops need to grow well, and there is no need to fertilize or irrigate them through manual labor. The wheat fields are an important heritage of the farming culture, as well as a famous scenic spot, providing a source of income for local farmers.
