Thousands of roses in full bloom at the Jingran Garden at Lukou town in Changsha county have attracted numerous visitors from inside and outside Hunan province.
According to Chairman Wang Lianwen, the garden has a total of 137 varieties from around the world and 97 are quality breeds. It received more than 400 visitors on May 7 and over 7,000 during the May Day holiday.
Since its opening to the public this March, the garden has generated revenue of over 1.3 million yuan ($204,200) from nearly 30,000 guests.
