Almaty and Chongqing are both historical and cultural cities, but each has its distinctive features. Almaty is a flat city with trees and blue sky. Chongqing, on the other hand, is a city with twelve landscapes, which are on display as paintings in the pavilion.

The pavilion makes its visitors feel the wonder of China through the city of Chongqing. Much like China today, it is a modern structure fused with tradition, giving visitors the opportunity to experience Chinese culture, Chinese books, and Chinese life.
