
NANCHANG, Aug. 20 -- A fire broke out at a residential building in Nanchang, capital of east China's Jiangxi province on Saturday and sounds of explosion were heard, witnesses said.
The flames were discovered at 11:20 a.m. at the upper parts of a 14-storey building in a densely populated area on the Zigu road in Dongyu district.
Sounds of explosion were heard. Fire-fighters have arrived and casualties are yet to be known.
