CHINA-SICHUAN-GANZI-MANI STONE SCRIPTURE WALL (CN)

SHIQU, July 2, 2016 -- Photo taken on July 2, 2016 shows a mani stone scripture wall in Shiqu County of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, southeast China's Sichuan Province. On the grassland near the intersection of the Mamu River and the Yalong River locates a wall consisting of mani stone tablets with Buddhist inscriptions. According to researchers, there contains over 3,000 figures of buddhas in Tibetan Buddhism and thousands of Tibetan Buddhist classics in the 1.7-kilometer-long wall. (Xinhua/Jiang Hongjing)
