YANCHENG, June 26, 2016 (Xinhua) -- Teacher Yang Jinting recalls details of the situation of extreme weather at Jiqiao Kindergarten in Funing County of Yancheng, east China's Jiangsu Province, June 25, 2016. The kindergarten was severely damaged when a powerful tornado and hailstorm hit Yancheng on Thursday. Six teachers of the kindergarten blocked doors of classrooms with their bodies to protect some 100 children during the tornado. The death toll has climbed to 99 after a fierce tornado and storm hit Jiangsu, leaving 846 others injured, local authorities said Sunday. (Xinhua/Li Xiang)
