
A graduation diploma from the Qing Dynasty was recently collected by the museum of Huazhong Agricultural University in Hubei province. The certificate belonged to a man named Lu Weiqian, who graduated from the university.
The certificate is 56 centimeters high and 43 centimeters wide. Decorated with eight dragons along its edges, the certificate is also printed with an imperial decree of the Empress Dowager issued by the cabinet in the 33rd year of the Guangxu Emperor (1907).
