A Chinese woman makes a very fancy breakfast for her daughter every day. What is special is that every breakfast, with a fairytale-like design, has a story behind it.
Wang Jing, from southwestern city Chongqing, quit her job in early 2015 and became a housewife. Ever since, she started making breakfast for her daughter each day.
Unlike others, she designed each breakfast with a story behind it. Up to Jan. 13, she has made 220 different breakfasts for her little girl.
Wang explained that her 7-year-old daughter, an elementary school student, is very shy. She wanted to use the breakfast to delight her before she goes to school.
On Jan. 13, when her daughter, nicknamed Xiaoxiong, was about to take an exam, Wang cooked a breakfast of a shaped piece of bread and two fried eggs, which spelled out "100", wishing her luck in the exam.
The ideas and inspiration all come from daily life, Wang said, adding that she would also post the photos of the food online every day.
According to Wang, Xiaoxiong is becoming more confident now. As Xiaoxiong adapts to school life, Wang feels its worth making a unique breakfast for her every morning.
