Photos taken on January 7, 2016, show a gorgeous replica of an ancient Chinese carriage from the Qin Dynasty (221- 201 BC) in Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Site Museum in northwest China’s city of Xi’an.

The carriage was actually an official state vehicle unearthed from Majiayuan Relics in northwest China’s Gansu province earlier this century. It is a real luxury “car” at that time, which can compete with today’s Rolls Royce. The delicate replica costs 2 million yuan (around 0.3 million USD), according to Wang Hui, director of Gansu Archaeology Research Center.

Sponsored by Shaanxi provincial department of cultural heritage and Gansu provincial department of cultural heritage, the exhibition also displays 128 groups of more than 300 pieces of cultural relics from early Qin culture.
