Tens of Thousands of North Korean People Gathered in Pyongyang to Advocate Kim Jong-un’s New Year Speech

Photos taken on January 5, 2016, show 100 thousand of North Korean people gathered at the Kim Il-sung Square in Pyongyang, to advocate their “supreme leader” Kim Jung-un’s New Year speech.

Despite the sub-zero temperature, people chanted slogans in response to Kim Jung-un’s speech. Following the tradition of past years, the person in charge of Pyongyang city delivered a talk to praise Kim Jong-un’s New Year speech.

In the New Year speech Kim Jong-un made on January 1, he said that his priority is to raise the living standard of North Korean people, then he condemned South Korea for creating the tense situation in the Korean Peninsula.
