Editor's note: Chinese and Thai air forces conducted their first joint training at Thailand's Korat air force base on Nov. 24. Three J-10 fighter planes from the "Bayi" Aerobatic Team of the Air Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) performed 19 stunts in a 21-minute display. Thai fighters also joined the training on the same day.

The joint maneuver is aimed at "improving mutual learning and understanding between the two countries' aviation force troops, deepening pragmatic cooperation and enhance trust and friendship," said the PLA Air Force spokesman Shen Jinke. This was the "Bayi" Aerobatic Team's third overseas appearance since the Moscow International Aviation and Space Salon in August 2013 and the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition in March 2015.
