Have you ever tasted the iced Malatang?

Recently the iced Malatang goes viral online and is welcomed by students of the Southwest University of Political Science and Law in southwest China's Chongqing City.

'Malatang', meaning spicy and hot, is a famous street food in Sichuan province and Chongqing City. The popular iced soup Malatang is created and made by Luo Rong, who is the owner of the dining room in this university.

She started to sell this amazing food in the summer. "I often see students eat hot food and drink cold water in the scorching summer, I think it is harmful to their stomach and health. So I have the inspiration of cooking iced Malatang. I combine the ice cubes of beef soup with the hot Malatang. Then students could enjoy the clean and delicious food. When business is good, I can sell 200 iced Malatang in one day," said Luo.

"It is really a good match with the sweltering summer in Chongqing. Iced Malatang is wonderful and popular, I like it so much," said Xiaowang, who is a student in the university.
