Lop Nor is located in the southeast of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It was once the second largest salt water lake in China. It has become life restricted area after drying up since 1970s. Along with the development of local sylvite resource in recent years, silent Lop Nor shows great vitality again.
