HONG KONG, July.16 -- An earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale jolted 131km NE of Bathsheba, Barbados at 15:16: 32 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 13.878 degrees north latitude and 58.5081 degrees west longitude.
