'International Friends during Anti-Japanese War' exhibition unveiled in Beijing

Beijing June 15 (People's Daily Online) —The exhibition "International Friends during Anti-Japanese War" was unveiled in Beijing on July 15, 2015.

Jointly sponsored by Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and China International Friends Research Association, the exhibition displays 160 precious pictures of 39 international friends who worked together with Chinese people during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggressions from 1937 to 1945.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Great friends of Chinese people such as Norman Bethune, Dwarkanath Shantaram Kotnis, James Gareth Endicott, and Jean Jerome Augustin Bussiere dedicated their talents, wealth, even lives to help Chinese people during the war time, which Chinese people will never forget.
