A Chinese college graduate, accepted by Harvard's Kennedy School, has launched an online fund raising campaign to raise money for his tuition via social media wechat.

Wu Jundong, 24, graduated from the People's University, named his campaign as "Attending Harvard with me for only 99 Yuan," in which he promised to share his Harvard learning experiences on line with prospective "investors."
In just three days, he has attracted nearly 400 investors with a commitment of total of 50,000 yuan ($8333). He started posting his campaign on wechat on July 10.
Many netizens responded with positive comments about his creative idea but some criticized him for just wanting attention.
Wu said he had this idea from so many successful stories about online fund raising activities as he was ponding how to pay his 920,000 Yuan ($153,333) tuition for Harvard. He first did some survey among his school mates at People's University and peer colleges students before he set the 99 yuan number.
He also said that his family can manage to pay for his tuition, but he chose to rely on himself.
