Eighty people of different age and with various jobs competed in Beijing to see who could space out the most on July 4, 2015. To win, contestants needed to look spaced out for two hours and refrain from making sudden or drastic movements. Using smart phones, chatting and listening to music are also prohibited during the contest. The first "Space-Out Competition" sponsored by a Korean artist Woops Yang in Seoul aims to show how important it is to take a break, clear one's mind, and space out. (CNS/Liu Guanguan) |
