NANNING, China, Oct. 11 -- Hosts China collected two gold, one silver and one bronze medals in Saturday's five apparatus finals during the world gymnastics championships.

Yao Jinnan and Liu Yang claimed the gold medals of the women's uneven bars and the men's rings respectively.

Huang Huidan got the silver on the women's uneven bars, and You Hao won the bronze on the men's rings.

Yao won the women's uneven bars final with 15.633 points, just 0.067 points ahead of defending champion Huang Huidan on Saturday during the world gymnastics championships. Yao finished her flawless routine with the highest difficulty mark of 6.900.

"I think I have done 80 per cent of myself. I was doing the difficulty 7 when I was training, but in this competition I did less difficulty. I think my performance still had several tiny flaws," she said.

Yao vowed to make up for her poor events and keep doing well in her skilled events.

The 19-year-old champion impressed the world at the Asian Games with three individual golds on all-around, uneven bars and floor exercise.

China's Liu Yang performed with power and precision to win the rings crown with 15.933. Liu's strength moves and swinging combinations helped him to get the highest execution score.

Since placing fourth last year, Liu Yang has upgraded his difficulty, a strategy that earned him the top ranking in the final.

Russia's Denis Abliazin claimed his first world-class gold medal on floor exercise. Hong Un Jong from DPR Korea edged American Simone Biles by a margin of 0.045 to top the women's vault final. Hungary's Krisztian Berki topped the men's pommel horse final with 16.033 points.
