Myanmar is a typical Buddhist country for travelers who want a sacred land in their vacations. If you are looking for a destination for a memorable holiday, the best choice is to go to Myanmar. In this nation you can see majestic pagodas and wonderful landscapes. It has a rich culture and ancient traditions. For those who enjoy nature, Myanmar is a country full of natural beauty with green lands, silver beaches and virgin islands.

You might hear people say "mingalarbar", when you travel in Myanmar; it is a formal greeting that literally means "Good things unto you". Myanmar people are very friendly and they are always willing to help and show tourist their rich heritage.

In my own personal experience, since Myanmar is a country that recently opened to foreign tourism, it has still not developed a strong tourist sector, therefore there are not many foreigners wondering around the temples and pagodas. This fact makes sightseeing a much easier and comfortable experience. Historic and scenic areas have very few people around if we compare it with touristic spots in other countries.

Their food, traditional dances and music, colorful markets and their unique long cotton skirts makes you feel like you are in a different world.

During my meetings and interviews with different Myanmar authorities I also realized that they are not only friendly people, but also a humble nation who wants to welcome the world to their home, Myanmar.
