SYDNEY, Sept. 9 -- The landmark of Sydney, Sydney Harbor Bridge, embraced a group of special climbers under the full moon on Sept. 8, 2014, the 15th day of the 8th lunar month known as the Mid- Autumn Festival.

Guided by the Mandarin-speaking Climb leader, the 12 lucky winners of an online competition climbed to the top of the 134-meter-high Sydney Harbor Bridge. The climbers also enjoyed delicious moon cakes and live performance. Players and singers from Australia performed traditional Chinese songs including “the Moon Represents My Heart”.

On the top of the bridge, the climbers also sent their blessings to their families in China in front of the camera.

"With more and more Chinese living in Australia, it is a pity to see them not being able to reunite with their families on such occasions. BridgeClimb hopes to bring some comfort to the Chinese living in Australia by arranging this special project on the Mid-autumn Festival," said the leader of the Mandarin Climb, Zhou Peng.

As one of the most popular tourism activities in Sydney, climbing the Sydney Harbor Bridge attracts a large number of tourists each year. Given the increasing amount of Chinese tourists, BridgeClimb's Mandarin Climb has been welcomed greatly.
