US President George W. Bush will visit Poland during his June trip to Europe, the White House announced Thursday.
"The United States and Poland share a broad agenda of common interests and values in Europe and beyond," White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said.
"The president looks forward to reviewing ways in which the United States and Poland, old friends and new allies, can intensify the cooperation in pursuit of our common goals," Fleischer said.
Bush is to travel in mid-June to Goteborg, Sweden, for a biannual U.S.-EU summit, and will also travel to the NATO headquarters in Brussels. It will be his first trip to Europe since taking office.
