DPRK Parliament Holds Plenary Session

The fourth session of the 10th Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) opened on Thursday in Pyongyang.

The session reviewed the work of the DPRK cabinet for 2000 and discussed its tasks for 2001. It also summed up the fulfillment of the 2000 state budget and took up the 2001 state budget, said the official Korean Central News Agency.

The session separately adopted the SPA decision "on approving the report on the work of the DPRK cabinet and the summing up of the fulfillment of the 2000 state budget" and the SPA ordinance " on the 2001 state budget of the DPRK".
