China's Largest Policy Bank Teams Up with Steel Giant
China's State Development Bank (SDB) signed an agreement Monday with the Shanghai-based Baoshan Iron and Steel Company to enhance comprehensive collaboration between them in respective fields.
According to the agreement, SDB, China's major policy bank will join hands with the country's biggest iron and steel enterprise in providing middle and long-term loans, financing and issuing of bonds in domestic and foreign markets, and facilitating the company's internal corporate finance.
Experts regard the cooperation as a strategic move for SDB to expand its future businesses in this international metropolis.
