Chinese President Sends Letter to Macao School
A letter from Chinese President Jiang Zemin was read at an evening party attended by 61 youth associations in Macao Sunday, December 31.
President Jiang Wrote this letter to the Hou Kong Middle School in Macao, wishing the teachers and students there a happy new year and rapid progress.
Jiang visited this school 10 days ago.
The letter received warm applause after being read by Vong Fong Va, director of the Chinese Education Association of Macao, who said, " President Jiang still concerns himself with the education cause in Macao even he is so busy, which makes us feel so grateful. "
"The letter is the best new year gift we have received, and we won't fail to live up to President Jiang's expectations toward us, " said Iao Tun Ieong, headmaster of the Kou Kong Middle School.
