Chinese Nation's Revitalization Can Be Attained Unquestionably

The history of the past half century has shown that goals of the great revitalization of the Chinese nation and the reunification of the motherland can be unquestionably attained, said Luo Haocai, vice-chairman of the National Committee of Chinese People's Political and Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Monday, January 1.

Luo made the remark at a CPPCC tea party held here to greet the arrival of the new year and new century.

He called on all non-Communist parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and public figures without party affiliation to make contribution to safeguarding China's social stability, realizing the complete reunification of the motherland, maintaining world peace and promoting the common development of all countries, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

He urged them to work hard to adhere to, improve and carry out the CPC-led system of multi-party cooperation and political consultation, and contribute to the consolidation and expansion of the patriotic united front.

Luo is also chairman of the central committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, one of the China's eight non-Communist parties. Its members are mainly returned overseas Chinese and their relatives, as well as noted figures and scholars who have overseas ties.
