China, Germany to Hold Environment Conference
China and Germany will jointly hold a conference on environmental cooperation in Beijing from December 12 to 13.
Some 900 delegates from both sides, including senior officials, will attend the conference, according to the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA).
German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Joschka Fischer, will attend the conference, said German ambassador to China Hans-Christian Ueberschaer at a press conference here Friday.
SEPA officials said that delegates will discuss issues such as protection and efficient use of natural resources, pollution control and management of the environment, urban development and environmental protection.
