Chinese Enjoy Peaceful National Day Holiday
The Chinese people have enjoyed a jubilant and peaceful National Day holiday over the past week, according to sources from the Ministry of Public Security.
Social order was sound from October 1 to 7 in China, with no major crimes reported, the sources said.
Police nationwide have strengthened safety inspections, increased patrols, ensured people's safety at various large celebrations and maintained good order at scenic spots during the week-long holiday.
