Large Tour Festivals to be Held This Summer
Chengde and Qinhuangdao of Hebei Province will hold the "3rd Summer Resort Tour Festival" in June and the "Shanhaiguan International Great Wall Festival" in August respectively.
The "Third Summer Resort Tour Festival" will be held from June 6 to 7. During the two days, a large-scale activity of park visiting will be held in the Summer Resort, the famous imperial garden built in Qing Dynasty, and a brass band from Austria will perform for tourists. By then, the responsible persons of over 350 travel agencies and more than 200 representatives of the mayor joint conference of 17 cities around the Behai Sea will attend the opening ceremony of the festival.
The "2,000 China Shanhaiguan International Great Wall Festival" is scheduled to be held in Qinhuangdao from August 26 to September 26. A series of exhibitions, performances and celebrations on the topic of the Great Wall will be held during the festival.
