Four Traffickers in Women and Children Executed

China's Supreme People's Court announced Wednesday that four people guilty of trafficking in women and children were executed by order of the local courts.

The four executed smugglers include Lin Laibao from Lufeng city in Guangdong Province; Bing Guigang and Xie Zhongying from Huishui County in Guizhou Province; and Liang Kunmin from Suiyang County in Guizhou Province.

The Intermediate Court of the city of Shanwei in Guangdong sentenced Lin to death for smuggling 14 women.

Bing and Xie were executed by order of the Intermediate Court of the Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefectures after being convicted of trafficking a total of 17 women and 13 children.

Liang, who was convicted of trafficking five women, raping two of the women, and molesting one of them, was executed by order of the Intermediate Court of the city of Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province. All four criminals were deprived of their political rights and personal belongs, according to the Supreme Court announcement.
