Friday, February 18, 2000, updated at 09:00(GMT+8) Business FM Spokesman on Sino-U.S. Agricultural Cooperation The implementation of the Agreement on US-China Agricultural Cooperation signed last year will help the U.S. farm produce to enter the Chinese market, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhu Bangzao said in Beijing today at a regular press conference. He said that China has begun to carry out the agreement by sending two business groups to the U.S. to inspect farm produce. A delegation of Chinese wheat experts will leave for the United States this Sunday for a business/study tour. Led by Zhou Mingchen, general manager of China National Cereals, Oils & Foodstuffs Import & Export Corp., the delegation will visit wheat-growing areas in northwest America, including the states of Oregon and Montana. Earlier in January, A delegation of Chinese customs officials made an pre-inspection tour of the U.S. to check out orange growing.
