It has been revealed that 473 million yuan of funds earmarked for the Three Gorges Resettlement Project has been misappropriated ,the Auditing Administration reported.

The Auditing Administration found that the misused funds, 8.8 percent of the mdoney audited, were spent on building office buildings, dormitories and setting up companies.

Ten cases of embezzlement were also reported, involving some 14people.
