China More bodies in Yantai Shipwreck Recovered

Four more bodies of the shipwreck victims were salvaged by 18:00 hours on December 3, bringing the total number of bodies salvaged by divers to 125.

Over 100 soldiers of the naval force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and 200 men from Yantai Garrison Command have taken part in the salvage operation.

To date, each room of the sunken ship has been searched more than twice. The organizing group ordered a blanket search for the missing and not to neglect any corner.

A total of 302 people were on board the Dashun Ship before it sunk on November 24. Rescuers recovered 118 bodies from the sea, and plus the 125 salvaged by divers, the recovered total came to 243. And 37 bodies are believed to still be in the water.
