China Sino-Japanese Letters of Exchange Signed

Assistant Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Japanese Ambassador to China Tanino Sakutaro, on behalf of the Chinese and Japanese governments respectively, signed letters of exchange on establishing a Sino-Japanese council on non-governmental greening cooperation on November 19.

The council will provide policy and technical assistance to cooperation projects. Special allocations from the Japanese government will help fund non-governmental greening cooperation between the two countries.
