China HKSAR Chief Executive to Visit Beijing

Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) Tung Chee Hwa will leave for Beijing on November 21 for his annual duty visit, a government spokesman announced in Beijing on November 18.

During his Beijing tour, which is to end on November 22, Tung will call on Chinese President Jiang Zemin, Premier Zhu Rongji and Vice Premier Qian Qichen.

The chief executive will be accompanied by Information Coordinator Stephen Lam, Private Secretary to the Chief Executive Richard Yuen, and Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Chan Kin-ping.
