Consul General Li Huaxin Visits People's Daily Online Australia (People's Daily Online/He Ji)

SYDNEY June 5 (People's Daily Online) – On June 5, Consul General of People's Republic of China in Sydney H.E. Mr. Li Huaxin, accompanied by Deputy Consul General Liu Kan, Consul Fu Aimin and Consul Liu Yanzhe, took a visit to People's Daily Online Australia office located in Sydney CBD.

After entering the office, Consul General Li was attracted by a group of photos displayed on the wall, reflecting the scene of former leaders of China reading “People's Daily” newspaper. Consul General Li warmly inquired about the staffs' working and living condition. Xue Meng, Director of People's Daily Online Australia also introduced People's Daily Online and People's Daily Online Australia to Consul General Li.

People's Daily Online Australia was registered on 26th November 2012 in Sydney and was officially launched in March 2013. By introducing China to Australia and reporting news in Australia to China, People's Daily Online Australia hopes to help extend bilateral cooperation in all areas and help improve the friendship and communication between the peoples of the two countries. People's Daily Online Australia Channel will become a channel for Australian netizen to get to know ongoing major events in China, and also a platform of information exchanging for people who concern and support the development of China and Australia's relationship.
