5 dead, 20 injured in N China collision

TAIYUAN, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Five people were killed and 20 others were injured after a bus and a truck collided Wednesday morning in north China's Shanxi Province, local traffic police said.

A bus collided with a heavy truck on a section of highway in Wenshui County at 9:35 a.m., the police said.

One person died at the scene, while the other four perished after being taken to a local hospital.

The 20 injured are receiving medical treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
