Chinadaily.com.cn)  10:36, April 09, 2013

A "nail house" remains standing at a construction site in Gongqin village of Yichang city, Central China's Hubei province, April 8, 2013. A nail house is a Chinese term for homes whose owners refuse to move to make room for property development. Usually the homeowners can't come to an agreement with developers about compensation. Over the past year, power and water supplies to this house were repeatedly cut off in anonymous attacks at night. [Photo/CFP]
