CHENGDU, October 15 (ChinaMil) -- The concentrated training for electromagnetic spectrum management troops of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) was held on October 11 and 12, 2013 in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan province.
A total of 90-odd representatives from the information technology departments under the headquarters of various military area commands and various services and arms of the PLA participated in the training.
They visited an electromagnetic spectrum management center under the Chengdu Military Area Command (MAC), watched the equipment display of a new-generation joint electromagnetic spectrum management system, and discussed key and difficult issues on building electromagnetic spectrum management troops.
During the training, the information technology departments under the headquarters of the Shenyang MAC, the Nanjing MAC and the Second Artillery Force (SAF) exchanged their experience of military-civilian monitoring network interconnection and electromagnetic spectrum management information services, etc., and the electromagnetic spectrum management center of the PLA's reserve force introduced its achievements based on China's radio industry.
