Chang Wanquan inspects in Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning

BEIJING, July 26 (ChinaMil) -- Chang Wanquan, member of the Central Military Commission (CMC), state councilor and minister of national defense of the People's Republic of China (PRC), carried out investigation and study into frontier defense and national defense mobilization work in northeast China's Heilongjiang province, Jilin province and Liaoning province.

During the investigation and study tour, Chang Wanquan went to frontier defense companies, front-line sentry posts, grassroots people's armed forces departments and militia emergency detachments to grasp the situation, listen to reports, discuss with military and civilian comrades, inspect frontier defense infrastructure and observe operation and drill of information management system networking for national defense mobilization.

Leaders of the Shenyang Military Area Command (MAC) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), the three northeast China's provinces and the General Office of the CMC participated in the tour.
